My name is Brad, and I’ve spent more than 23 years working in the waste‑management industry — but my passion for this work started long before that. As a kid growing up in Washtenaw County, I was fascinated by the garbage trucks that came through our neighborhood. I always admired the people who kept our community clean, and I knew early on that I wanted to be part of that world.
After graduating from Dexter High School in 1996, I worked a few different jobs before joining Mr. Rubbish, which later became Waste Management. That’s where I really learned the industry from the ground up. Over the years, I worked for and learned from some of the best people in the business — including the same two brothers who trained me nearly 28 years ago. I’ve handled everything from driving routes to greasing trucks to doing small maintenance, dispatching, customer service, and operations. This industry has shaped who I am, and I’ve never really left it.
To help the community. I started this company because I saw a real need for reliable, honest service — especially from a local provider who actually shows up. Too many people in our area have gone weeks, even months, without their trash being picked up. Bigger companies often overlook smaller neighborhoods, but a mom‑and‑pop operation like ours doesn’t do that. If something breaks down, we’ll work all night if we have to. Even if it means using pickup trucks to finish the job, we get it done.
I believe customers deserve honesty, fair pricing, reliability, and professionalism. That’s why I keep my trucks clean, my pricing competitive, and my service consistent. When you rent a dumpster from us, I want you to feel taken care of — and I want you to feel confident recommending us to your neighbors, friends, and family.
I’ve lived and worked in this region for 49 years. This is home. I know the people, I know the roads, and I know how much it means to have a company you can count on every single week. Keeping our community clean isn’t just a job to me — it’s personal.
Grow Talking Trash Disposal into a company that serves the community, supports its employees, and expands into new markets. I want to build a business where workers feel secure, respected, and supported — with good health insurance, fair treatment, and opportunities to grow.
I enjoy playing hockey, working out, riding my Harley, and spending time with my family. Most people are surprised to learn I still play hockey — but staying active keeps me sharp and focused.
Making sure every route is covered, every customer is taken care of, and every worker gets home safely. I believe in treating employees with respect, supporting their goals, and helping them balance work and life — even if that means letting someone leave early to make it to night classes.
Talking Trash Disposal isn’t just a business to me. It’s a commitment to the community I’ve called home my whole life — and I’m proud to serve the people who live here.
